Making the Call
This call is an opportunity to discuss if we’re a good match. You share what you’re going through and the support you need. After, I’ll explain my approach and address any questions you have. If you decide to proceed, we can schedule your intake appointment right after.
Intake Forms
Before our session, I’ll send you a link to my patient portal for completing intake forms. This helps me prepare thoroughly, ensuring our time together is focused on your story. The portal is also where we can securely communicate, share documents, request refills, schedule appointments, and join virtual sessions.
Initial Consultation
During our session, I’ll take time to understand your story, explore your history, clarify your goals, and share my initial clinical impressions. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan focused on 1–3 starting points to monitor your progress. I may also recommend screening tools or lab work to guide our next steps.
This is your space to share how symptoms have impacted your life. I’ve found that taking the time to listen deeply and gather a full picture early on helps us make meaningful progress more quickly.
Lab Work & Information Gathering
If needed, I’ll order labs during your consultation to screen for medical conditions and nutritional deficiencies. We will review them and any treatment adjustments at our next visit. I may also request records from past providers and/or connect with them directly. Additionally, I will send symptom screeners at regular intervals for follow-up visits to track progress.
ADHD Testing & Treatment
Please be aware that a QbTest is required for ADHD diagnosis unless there is documentation of a prior ADHD diagnosis from another provider. I may require a recent electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) results and blood pressure readings before treatment. Typically, I do not confirm the diagnosis or start stimulant medication during the first consultation. QbTesting is a separate cost from the initial appointment fee.
Follow-up Visits
Follow-up appointments are typically every 2–4 weeks during the first three months, then every 1–3 months for ongoing care. We’ll review your progress, adjust medications as needed, revisit therapeutic insights, and address any concerns. Together, we’ll continue refining your treatment plan—integrating mind, body, and soul care to support your goals.
Therapeutic Alliance
- Extended Appointment Times: We allocate longer sessions to create a supportive environment where you can feel heard, valued, and comfortable expressing yourself without fear of judgment.
- Focused Caseloads: By limiting our caseloads, we can concentrate solely on your unique needs. Before each appointment, we meticulously review labs, forms, and assessments to keep our sessions centered on addressing your concerns and achieving your goals.
- Complimentary 15-Minute Consultation: To foster trust and collaboration, we offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This initial conversation allows you to connect with us, ask questions, and ensure that our approach aligns with your comfort and expectations before scheduling an appointment.
