Finding Your Path Forward

Care Options and What to Expect

What Makes Care Here Different

Maybe you have tried treatment and improved somewhat, but the whole picture still does not make sense.

You may have left appointments with another prescription or recommendation, but little understanding of why symptoms keep changing or why treatment only partly helped.

Sometimes the problem is not that no one cared. There simply was not enough time to connect the pieces.

Care here begins by slowing down enough to ask what changed, what patterns may have been missed, and how sleep, hormones, stress, physical health, medications, and daily life may be interacting.

If you have felt rushed or partially helped, you are not asking for too much. You may simply need care with enough time and continuity to look closer.

How Care Is Structured

Care needs change. At times, you may want more space to sort through several moving pieces. At others, a focused follow up or the flexibility to schedule as needed may be enough. That is why care is offered in a few different ways.

Ongoing Integrative Care

Regular visits create space to look beyond the immediate concern and understand how medications, sleep, hormones, nutrition, stress, physical health, and daily life may be interacting.

Flexible Private Care

Schedule when it makes sense, whether something has shifted, you need a periodic check in, or you simply prefer not to commit to a recurring plan.

Insurance Based Care

Use your insurance for psychiatric evaluation and medication focused follow up. Care remains collaborative and individualized within the time and coverage your plan allows.

Each pathway offers thoughtful, individualized care. What changes is how visits are scheduled, how much time we have, and how broadly we can work together. We can choose what fits now and adjust as your needs change.

Integrative Care Memberships

Membership care provides a predictable rhythm for follow up, adjustment, and deeper integrative work. The options differ primarily in how often we meet and how much time is available during each visit.

    FAQ's

    Where do we meet?

Appointments are offered both in person and via secure telehealth.

In-person visits are available two days per week at the downtown Chandler office. Telehealth appointments are available five days per week.

Clients must be physically located in Arizona at the time of telehealth appointments.

    How often will we connect?

Visit frequency depends on your goals, needs, and where you are in the process.

Some people benefit from more frequent support early on, then shift to less frequent visits as things stabilize. We revisit timing as care evolves so it remains appropriate and sustainable.

How do you decide what kind of care is appropriate for me?

Care is based on your goals, history, and the level of support you’re looking for.

During the initial evaluation or consultation, we’ll talk through options and determine what approach feels most aligned. There isn’t a single “right” path, and care can shift over time as your needs change.

Do I need to be on medication?

    No.

Medication is one option, but not required. Decisions are made collaboratively based on your goals, preferences, and overall context.

Some clients include medication in their care, while others focus on non-medication strategies or a combination that evolves over time.

Do you work with clients who use cannabis?

Yes. If you use cannabis or are considering it, that’s part of the conversation here, not something to leave out or work around.

Cannabis can interact with medications, affect sleep and anxiety patterns, and play a meaningful role in how you’re functioning day to day. Understanding what you’re using and why helps ensure your care reflects your full picture.

This isn’t about promoting or discouraging use. It’s about making sure nothing relevant gets left out of your treatment.

What’s the difference between insurance-based care and private-pay care?

Insurance-based care follows the structure set by your plan and typically focuses on medication management and brief clinical support.

Private-pay care allows for more flexibility and depth, including time to explore patterns across mental health, physical health, and lifestyle in a more integrative way. It also offers greater privacy, as care is not shared with insurance.

Both options are approached thoughtfully. The difference is in structure, not quality.

Do you offer superbills or accept FSA/HSA?

    Yes.

For private-pay services, superbills may be available for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

FSA and HSA cards are accepted, along with standard credit and debit cards.

    Can I message between appointments?

Brief, non-urgent messaging is available for logistical questions or simple clarifications.

Clinical concerns, new symptoms, or more complex questions are best addressed during scheduled appointments so they receive appropriate time and attention.

Messages are reviewed by the office team and forwarded as needed. Response time is typically within 48 business hours.

Do you coordinate care with other providers?

Yes, when helpful and with your consent.

Care can be coordinated with other providers involved in your health, such as primary care clinicians or therapists.

What if I need urgent or crisis support?

This practice does not provide emergency or crisis care.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or feel unsafe, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

If you are an established client, ongoing concerns can be addressed at your next appointment or scheduled sooner when appropriate.
